Before we welcome the fasting period, Wellgoods proposes a delicious version of the Stroganoff Beef Stroganoff. 🍴
A comfort food with a gourmet touch that will impress you!
Ingredients:
- 500g beef fillet, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 250g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp mustard
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked pasta or rice, for serving
Instructions:
- Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef fillet slices and cook until just browned on all sides. Be careful not to overcook. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, onion, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Add the mushrooms and cook until they are golden brown.
- Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly add the beef broth and mustard, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, or just until the beef is heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the Beef Fillet Stroganoff over cooked pasta or rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
